A Golden Hour Canoe Session at Lake Acworth
Melyssa and Enrique’s July couples session at Lake Acworth was one of those evenings where everything came together perfectly. We rented a canoe from a friend, caught the dreamiest golden hour light over the water, and created such a fun summer-inspired session that felt romantic, relaxed, and a little adventurous.
They were absolute naturals in front of the camera — they took direction so well, but were also so comfortable moving and posing together on their own, which made the whole session feel effortless. After spending some time on the water, we explored the beach area and a few of the greener spots around the park. Lake Acworth is such a great Atlanta-area couples photo location because you get so much variety in one place: water, beach access, open green space, and beautiful sunset light. It ended up being the perfect setting for a warm, summery evening together.
