Is Sunrise the Good Time for a Folly Beach Engagement Session?
Absolutely. Sunrise is just as good as a beach sunset! The beach is much quieter than it is in the evening; You avoid the crowds, the light is softer, and temperatures are usually more comfortable, especially during the warmer months.
This session took place on a chilly March morning. The forecast called for heavy cloud cover, and for a while it looked like we might not see the sun. Just before sunrise, though, the clouds opened up and gave us the most beautiful golden light. It’s a great reminder that even if the forecast isn’t perfect, the weather can still create incredible photos.
What Should You Wear for a Beach Engagement Session?
For this session, they chose denim, cozy sweaters, and neutral colors. Since it was early spring, the layers kept them comfortable while creating a relaxed, coastal look that fit Folly Beach perfectly.
