Lydia and Riley’s March couples session in downtown Charleston was the perfect mix of romantic, classic, and a little playful. We wandered through some of my favorite streets and tucked-away corners around the Old Post Office, Broad Street, and St. Michael’s Alley, letting the historic architecture and colorful Charleston details do most of the work for us.
Since we photographed their session in early spring, we also caught some of the prettiest seasonal blooms, including the cherry blossoms scattered around downtown. Between the soft March light, blooming trees, cobblestone streets, and pastel buildings, Charleston made such a beautiful backdrop for their photos. It was one of those sessions that felt like a little date night through the city, and such a fun way to capture a spring afternoon together.
