This session with my friends, Gabby and Mikey, was such a fun one. They were visiting from Charleston, and since it was Mikey’s first time in Atlanta, they really wanted photos that actually felt like the city. I had this rooftop I’d been dying to shoot on, so we headed up there for sunset, and it did not disappoint.
When we were planning, I told them it could be fun to do something a little less traditional than your typical rooftop couples session; less white dress and suit, more grungy, laid-back, city vibe. I sent a little outfit inspo, and they absolutely nailed it. We ended up just hanging out, playing around with an old guitar Gabby brought, and watching the sun hit the skyline (which, by the way, reflects so well off the buildings at golden hour). It’s such a cool spot for engagement photos, couples sessions, or even senior photos if you want something that feels a little non-traditional.

If you’re wanting photos that feel like you and want to experience the Atlanta skyline in a fun, relaxed way, let’s get something on the calendar — I’ll even share my favorite rooftop spot with you 😉
