Kristy and Andrew’s wedding at The Natalie House in Lawrenceville, Georgia was such a beautiful summer wedding day. The Natalie House is an all-inclusive wedding venue by Wedgewood Weddings, which makes it such a convenient option for couples who want a lot of the planning and logistics handled in one place while still having a venue that feels elegant and personal.
I started the day with Kristy and the girls at a nearby hotel while she was finishing up hair and makeup, and then we quickly transitioned over to the venue for everyone to get dressed. One of my favorite parts of The Natalie House is the getting-ready suite. It has so much charm and beautiful light, and I absolutely loved the photos we were able to create there while Kristy was getting ready.
Their wedding was at the end of July, and we got lucky with a slightly cooler day that made their outdoor ceremony in the back gardens feel especially lovely. The ceremony space was simple, romantic, and surrounded by greenery, and their understated floral choices complemented the venue perfectly without overpowering it. Afterward, everyone moved indoors for the reception, which made the day feel comfortable and easy despite it being the middle of summer.
Another thing I really loved about photographing at The Natalie House was the variety of angles the property gives you. From the upper level and the windows near the bridal suite, you can photograph the reception space from above and create some really fun perspectives that feel different from the usual wedding-day coverage. It is also a great venue for couples who love the idea of an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception, while still having an indoor backup option if Georgia weather decides not to cooperate.
