A Romantic Summer Wedding at Chateau Elan Winery in North Georgia

The James wedding was such a beautiful summer wedding at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Georgia. Chateau Elan is such a wonderful choice for couples planning a winery wedding near Atlanta because there are so many different spaces throughout the property. There were actually several other weddings happening on site that day, but the resort never felt overcrowded, and each celebration still had its own space and sense of privacy.

Both sides of the wedding party got ready in separate suites inside the hotel before heading to the Winery Pavilion for the ceremony and reception. For a summer wedding in Georgia, this setup was incredible because everything could take place in a beautiful, air-conditioned indoor space without sacrificing the natural light that makes the pavilion photograph so well. Chateau Elan also gives couples so many options when it comes to ceremony locations and portraits, so even if you want to avoid the outdoor heat, you still have plenty of variety throughout the day.

Brianna did such a beautiful job with the overall design of the wedding. The color palette felt fun and romantic, and the florals by Araiza Florals brought so much life into the space. The draping by Sapphire Sky Events was another standout detail and completely transformed the pavilion, adding softness and movement to the reception space while tying everything together.

One of my favorite parts of the day was simply getting to spend time with Brianna, Briant, and their wedding party. They are such a sweet couple and so clearly know how to have fun together, and their friends brought that same energy all day long. By the time the reception started, the dance floor was absolutely packed. It was such a joyful, high-energy ending to an already beautiful Chateau Elan wedding day.
